

BBLCarlton obtained this project through the competative bid process.
This state-of-the-art facility houses Kanawha County’s 911 emergency call center equipment and personnel. As the County’s only call center, this facility has many extraordinary features such as redundant mechanical and electrical systems, Level 3 security doors and windows, and motion-detecting security cameras.
This project required extensive site development and improvements. Of particular interest is the geoexchange heating and cooling system. This environmentally friendly system utilizes the consistant temperature of the earth to provide cost-effective heating and cooling to the facility.
This project was completed in 11 months for a cost of $3.57 million dollars.
